Cubmaster Chris lives in central Texas with his 2 boys (15 and 10 years). He runs an advertising agency during the day. He likes to camp (of course) and hang out with his boys playing Guitar Hero and Rock Band (sometimes you can catch him singing on twitter).

Chris has been involved with Scouting as a leader since 2001. He is currently a District Trainer and Cub Scout Roundtable Commissioner and has been a Cubmaster, Den Leader and Troop Committee Chairman & member.

Curtis earned his Star Boy Scout rank in March 2009 and Connor earned his Webelos Scout badge in February 2010.

Scoutmaster Steve is a scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop in central Minnesota. He has been a troop leader for 29 years, nearly 28 of which has been as scoutmaster. He is also the webmaster of his troop’s website, and the producer of the Melrose Scout Productions Podcast and the Around The Scouting Campfire podcast. He enjoys reading, movies, biking, camping, and playing D&D with the Boy Scouts of his troop.

Jerry is a Scoutmaster of a Scout Troop in Northwest Oregon, just out side of Portland. He has been involved with Scouting for 20 years or so. A family guy in a Scouting family! His love of Scouting has brought him to the wonderful world of podcasting and he hopes to help Scout leaders deliver the promise of Scouting through thoughts and discussions, tips and ideas, and just plain fun.

Jerry’s passion for high adventure comes out in his podcasts, an avid Backpacker, Climber, and fan of the out doors, he loves to share his passion and love for Scouting. Jerry has two sons in the program, John 15, and Josh 13, both Life Scouts putting their Eagle Packets together. They push him on the trail, and never cease to amaze him on the rocks. I have been in scouting for going on 6 years, when the flyer came home with his oldest son. In that time, I have been a Den Leader, Cubmaster, Committee Chair, District Training Chair, Unit Commissioner. My current position is Pack Trainer, along with coming the Scoutmaster for a new troop that is forming in my area.

I was a Cub Scout when I was younger, but we move to a rural area that didn’t offer any organized units, and I never went back as a scout.

I love the program, and have a passion for scouting that my wife thinks is a bit “obsessive”…but I have seen firsthand the maturation of my sons, and what the scouting program has done for both of them.

Being a part of PTC is an honor, and I am glad that Chris, Steve, and Jerry thought that I belonged here.

I am a single mom of one exuberant, 7-year old boy.  We live in Atlanta, Georgia.  I am currently a Tiger Den Leader and Assistant Popcorn Kernel, and will be taking over as Committee Chair for my pack after the current CC crosses over in March.  My son is a tiger, and we both signed up for scouting when he aged into the program at the end of the May.  My other, “paid” job involves research on children’s behavior problems and the effects of stressful life events on their development.
