Listening to show while I run errands. My first Pinewood Derby is coming up. Love the idea of making drivers licenses on a lanyard for boys. The derby software we bought has templates on it – now I know how to utilize them.

 

Also, what kind of activities or games would be appropriate to keep the boys busy during the downtime at the derby? I'm at a loss.

 

RE: TV Station Visits = We do not have any problems in our area of NE Kansas getting a station visit. The staff meteorologists are the ones who are doing tour and spending time with boys. They even get to use the green screen and sit at the news desk. Just my experience.

We're lucky to have a Scout Parent/Volunteer alumni who is a local news anchor, so we have no problem visiting his stations. Lucky us!
