PTCers,

We lost a great building this morning when a fire burnt to the ground one of our newest Scout Education Centers at wonderful Camp Belzer. No one was hurt but the building and all it contained was a total loss.

The hardest part is that Camp Belzer is one of the oldest BSA Camps in America and the basement (and building halls and offices) were covered in historic scouting memorabilia for the dawn of Scouting in America.

It's a sad sad day in the Crossroads of America Council…

Camp is still closed to Scouts and Scouters (thanks insurance company)…now cancelling everything in January and possibly feb as well :(
