Are you looking to supply your patrol box? I have no recommendations for that, sorry…but for backpacking, I would recommend the Brunton Raptor…great little stove.

I'd recommend the Coleman 2-burner stoves. Can't go wrong with the classic! If the price is a few bucks more than one of the other brands, it's worth the extra money because I've found that you get more (longer) life out of the Coleman stoves than any of the others.

Scott is right about Coleman. Our troop has Coleman liquid fuel stoves that are still going strong. As far as propane stoves our troop has $20 two burner stoves from walmart that work alright. Coleman quality is far superior though and they will last far longer than any off brand stove.

well we found a great deal. dicks sporting goods had a clearance at the end of last camping season here and someone bought some extra  coleman stoves for $25 and now the patrols have those.

Yep, always good to look around for clearance deals and used equipment.  A scout is thrifty!

I personally use the coleman 2 burner stove that Scott noted above.  Its a pretty good unit and puts out a ton of BTUs!  It's easy to clean as well.
