What do you do in this situation? Lets say you plan a go-see-it (i.e. Library Visit for a Tiger requirement) and some of the boys don't make it. How do the absent boys make up that requirement in your unit?
Schedule another visit, if there are more than 1 that missed?
Have the missing boys visit the library on their own?
Or try to substitute the requirement with something else?
If more than one boy missed it, we try to get all the absent families together on a make-up date they can arrange. Otherwise, we try to get them to do it on their own. Since most of the Go-See-Its have a few options listed, even if they don't do the exact thing the rest of the den did, they can choose something else from the list (Den went to a basketball game, individual boy goes to hockey / den goes to Firestation, individual visits police department, etc).
Since it is usually difficult to find a time when everyone’s schedule works, you have to take your best shot. After that, I made them do it on their own.Having said that, I usually have a den meeting at some point in January or February where I try and cover a mishmash of requirements that various Scouts missed. My experience has been that they don’t get done at home and I don’t want the Scouts to not advance. If they miss the original and make-up meetings, they are on their own.

We did the same thing that Chris said for the Tiger Go-See-It's. The den had an outing and one or two boys didn't make it, we told them they could make it up with their family on their own. If half the den missed, we'd schedule a second outing later on in the year as a make-up date.
