Also, if you need ideas about good "Craft" scissors or rotary cutters…

I'd recommend the fiskar rotary cutter for paper.  If you've never used one, they work much like a portable paper trimmer:

But prefer the Olfa brand for fabric if you were cutting a bunch of squares of burlap, felt or canvas (and yes I have both):
