PTCMedia is celebrating the 100th Anniversary by hosting a Sack Lunch Meet & Greet at the National Jamboree! BYOW(water)B(bottle) and meet two of our hosts, Scoutmaster Jerry, from The Scoutmaster Minute podcast, and MISS Shannon, from Moms in Scouting Service podcast, for a National Jamboree Media event on Saturday, July 31st from 1-3PM outside of the Jambo Troop 720, Subcamp 7! Stop by before the kickoff of the Big Arena Show.

Unfortunately we will only be hosting the two Meet and greets on Tuesday and Saturday. As much as I would love to have them everyday… I have a Troop to watch and also have a little fun at Jambo too, and Miss Shannon and Miss Kris are only coming for visits too.
But I'd love to meet and at least say hello.. If you make it to Subcamp 7 and go to the 720 camp site.. they can get a hold of me no matter where I am, we can meet up.
That goes for anyone…. just stop by there, they can get in touch with me and we make it happen.

My son and I have just made plans to visit on Tuesday, July 27. Where was the meet and greet on that date going to be again? I remember folks talking about it in one of the shows but I can't remember which episode of which show it was.

Wow! It helps to look at the banner adds on the website. I see the time for the Tuesday meet and greet is 12:00 noon. I will see you then!

Both of the meet and greets will be in subcamp 7 in the camp site of Troop 720… look for the light house.

Much to my surprise I got a "why don't you go" from the Mrs. last night so I'm trying to see if it's feasible to make a weekend trip to Jambo with my son. (It's a bit more challenging since she'll have the family car) If we do you bet we'll be hunting for the PTC Crew :)

I so wish I could be there, have fun you all!
Only slightly related, and if admins would rather it be it's own topic I'll move it, but how many are planning on checking out the big webcast from jambo this Saturday? Our council is having a big televised todo at the farm that is adjacent to our Scout offices, we'll be going there.

The meet and greets were lots of fun.
It was great to meet Kris and Shannon and all of the great PTC listeners that showed up, as well as the podfans that I met along the way.
Scouts and Scouters from across the country and Scouting world made the Jamboree extra special for me.
It was great to meet you all and talk about Scouting, Patch trading, and podcasting!!
We need to do this stuff more often.
Looking forward to the Summit and 2013 already!
