We're going to start floating ideas on the network for everyone to give their opinion on. Some will be done, some won't, but I think they should at least be discussed. Having said that:
What would you think of a show that would be call-ins from campouts, field trips, Pack/Troop/Den Meetings, and other Scouting events? Maybe 15-30 minutes twice a month. Some of you do some really interesting stuff and picking up your phone or (for those with iPhones and iTouch) using something like AudioBoo and calling in a report of what your unit is up to may be interesting. No specific agendas or time-limit. Kind of a “What are you up to in the scouting world right now?” kind of thing.
BTW, some of these ideas are really half-baked, so don't be shy about suggesting tweaks to them.

Sounds like a neat idea to me, though it will probably require quite a bit of editing. Would that also be possible if instead of calling it in doing something like voice recording during the camp itself and then emailing the audio file to you guys?

Yeah, probably have 3-4 different ways that people can send stuff in: E-Mail, Phone, Skype. As far as editing, if they're kept to 3-5 minutes in length each, there shouldn't be much.
