Hi everyone:

I know last year on the old forums I mentioned attending the CCS (College of Commissioner Science) and a few people hadn't heard about it or their council doesn't hold one.  I just got the information for this year's program and thought I'd share it.  It's a pretty good time and it looks like this year they got Tico Torrez to be the keynote speaker, so that's pretty cool.  Registration is pretty much open to everyone who is in the commissioner corps (I guess open to people who aren't commissioners either, but not sure why they'd want to go).  If you plan on attending, I may be able to offer one or one of you a place to crash. :)

It was an AWESOME time!  Tico Perez is a really nice guy and as he spoke at the keynote address, during the panel discussion before lunch and when you talked to him privately, you could hear the passion he has for this program.  Lots of really great things on the way and in the works from National for 2010 and beyond!  I left feeling really re-energized about Scouting.  Also we learned that Tico is a patch collector so I had to give him one of the custom patches we had made for our summer camp this year!
