Are those of you who have the Wood Badge aware of the 1st Gilwell Park Scout Group's new web site? The UK Scout Association have just launched it and it's for ALL Wood Badge holders no matter which corner of the world they live in.

Just got this email about the registration issues -

Dear Scouting Friends,
 
Firstly please accept my apologies for the problems you are experiencing with the registration process on the 1st Gilwell Park website.
 
The company hosting the site have assured me that over night the bug has been fixed and there should be no problems now with registration.
Please continue to the registration page at https://1stgilwellpark.org/resources/registration.asp
 
Please follow the guidelines on this page and take note of the following:
 
- As a UK member please make sure if you have a Scouts.org.uk registration and you use 'my backpack' that you complete the registration process with exactly the same details.
 
- If you are a 'Non Uk member' you should not need to fill in the membership number request box.
 
When you have completed your registration your details will appear automatically in the log-in box at the top right of the website page. You just need to click the 'go' button and you should then be logged in.
 
When logged-in please go to 'update your profile' and complete your registration process. If you are happy to appear in the user directory for others to search for you make sure you select the 'yes' option at the bottom of the page. You will then be able to search for other Scouters here either by their First Name, Surname, Country, Wood Badge Year, or Course Number. These are the only details from your profile that will be displayed.
 
If you are still experiencing problems after this please do contact me and we will look at each issue individually.
 
We would love to hear from you about the webcams we are planning to put up at Gilwell. Please go to http://1stgilwellpark.org/medi…..Action.asp and tell me your top three suggestions.
