It was interesting hearing your hopes that the BSA's Centenary will promote positive news about the BSA and encourage more young men to become Scouts.

We were in a similar position in the UK in2007 when it was the Scouting Movenent's 100th birthday. The amount of positive media coverage Scouting got was very impressive. The media suddenly remembered what a positive thing Scouting is. Once the annual Census was taken by the SA at the beginning of 2008, the number of Scouts in the UK had risen dramatically and has been doing so ever since.

Hopefully the same positive outcome will happen for the BSA as well. Cool
