So recently the mailers for 2011's Philmont Training Center conference offerings starting showing up here in my district. Lots of new courses that look really interesting.

Anyone planning on going to a session this summer (or fall)?

I want to go, but not for a few years.  I want some more on the ground experience first, and I want my son to be a little older and in Cubs for a year or two before we go. (Not to mention some camping experience for my wife first :) ).  I want it to be an experience we all will remember.

Also, and regardless of one's feelings on CubCast, there is a good overview of the training center on this months CubCast – Part 2.  I enjoyed listening to it.  Not much new information for those of us familiar with it, but stil a good, quick listen.

There's a course on how to put on a College of Commissioner Science that sounds interesting. Now, I just need to find a way to work it into my schedule.
