I love the Squirrel section of the Podcast!

I am a 100% with you on this.  People who, for whatever reason do not want to take the online training for YPT, need to leave the unit and Scouting.  Within our District it came down that (early on) that everyone needed to be fully trained (all the online classes for a Pack).  Hence, I sent out the edict that everyone needed to be.  We are.  It later turned out that it was only YPT.  This coming year (2012) every Top Leader needs to be fully trained. Already done. 

My goal for this year is to get my incoming Webelos I Den Leader to OWLS/ITOLS training.  Hopefully our Webelos Woods in October will have this training.  Last year, it was a low-Cope training.  Hence, myself and this years WDL I went out of District to get it during Webelos Woods.

You and I already agree that training is fun and everyone should go.  My next round of training will be for Commissioner, even though I am not one.

It is my hope that this fall's Webelos Woods will have ITOLS.  If all 12 Packs in our District sends the Webelos & DLs & CMs to it, then they will all be covered for 2012.

That gives me an idea.  Gotta email my District People about Webelos Woods…;)
