I always enjoy the WeBeLoS transition stuff. As Pack Trainer I'm always sending all that infor to our Jr & Sr WeBeLoS leaders. It's so important to lay that foundation so they know what they are getting into with Boy Scouts and continue to Scout as they get older.

I'm also the Bear Den Leader with 15 Bears right now. With two Asst. Den Leaders we've broken up the boys into the Blue group and the Gold group. Each ADL has a permenant group of 7-8 boys that they separate for activities and achievement work during the meeting. We are mindful to call them the Blue & Gold groups and not patrols. We want to make that special for them when they become WeBeLoS. I'm debating on breaking them up into three patrols next year. Three patrols of five boys to mimic a Boy Scout patrol more closely. But that might be more work than necessary and lost on the boys.

I'd be interested to hear anyone's thoughts on this?
